Cookie Policy

How ombriel.top uses cookies and similar technologies.

Last updated: 23 July 2026 · Version 1.0

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which ones Ombriel uses on ombriel.top, and how you can control them. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help sites remember preferences, keep services secure, and — if you allow it — understand traffic or measure advertising.

2. How we use cookies

We use:

  • Strictly necessary cookies — required for basic functions such as storing your cookie preferences. These do not require consent.
  • Analytics cookies — help us understand how the site is used. Loaded only with your consent.
  • Marketing cookies — support advertising measurement and related features. Loaded only with your consent.

Non-essential cookies are blocked until you Accept all or enable them in Cookie Settings. We use Google Consent Mode v2 defaults set to “denied” until you choose otherwise.

3. Cookie table

Name Provider Category Purpose Duration
ombriel_cookie_consent Ombriel (first-party, localStorage) Strictly Necessary Stores your cookie category choices and policy version Until cleared / up to 12 months of recorded preference
_ga, _ga_* Google Analytics (if enabled) Analytics Distinguish visitors and measure site usage Up to 2 years
_gid Google Analytics (if enabled) Analytics Distinguish visitors 24 hours
_gcl_* Google Ads (if enabled) Marketing Conversion and ad click measurement Up to 90 days
_fbp Meta (if enabled) Marketing Advertising delivery and measurement Up to 3 months

Analytics and marketing rows apply only after you enable those categories. If you reject non-essential cookies, those cookies are not set by us for that purpose.

4. Managing your choices

You can:

  • Use on this site anytime (also linked in the footer)
  • Accept all, reject non-essential, or save granular choices in the banner
  • Clear cookies and site data in your browser settings

Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it: open Cookie Settings and turn categories off, or choose Reject.

5. Google and advertising partners

When advertising or analytics partners are enabled with your consent, they may process data under their own policies. Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services: Google Business Data Responsibility.

6. Server-side consent log

When you make a cookie choice, we may store a record (timestamp, policy version, categories chosen, and a hashed IP) to demonstrate consent under UK GDPR Article 7. This is separate from advertising cookies.

7. Updates

We may update this Cookie Policy when we change tools or legal requirements. Check the “Last updated” date above.
